British Sign Language Level 3

During the Level 3 course, the learner will develop an advanced knowledge of the structure and function of British Sign Language and an understanding of the Deaf Community and Deaf Culture.

Successful completion of this qualification can be used as evidence of the language skills needed in order to be able to operate independently and at an advanced level in British Sign Language. It is useful for those who work on a regular basis with Deaf people, those who aspire to work in this field, and those who wish to expand their knowledge and skills in British Sign Language.

Learners must be able to demonstrate competence in BSL at Level 2 in order to enrol on this course.

Hi Kent’s Naomi Lemar says: “Until recently there has been no Level 3 Course locally, and people don’t want to pay London prices and incur extra travelling costs when there is a high-quality local alternative.  That’s why we are offering the opportunity to study Level 3 locally for only £995 (plus pre-Course interview fee of £50), which will save them at least £350 over London prices.”

We also offer an optional pre-Level 3 course running for 30 weeks and costing £400.
