We are looking for one or two volunteers to help out in our offices in Brewer Street, Maidstone, ideally for between ten and twenty hours per week.
Duties will include dealing with telephone calls, incoming and outgoing post and helping drop-in visitors.
We use personal computers to manage most of our work and knowledge of Microsoft Office software, in particular Word and Excel, is needed. Awareness of the needs of people with hearing loss would be useful, although deaf awareness training will be provided.
These opportunities would suit people who are thinking of returning to work after a career break, or wanting to refine their skills in a modern office environment.
Expenses will be paid, and DBS checks are carried out on successful applicants.
