The Marlowe
The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury is keen to support the D/deaf and people with hearing loss to enable them to enjoy performances in their venue.
They already have captioned and BSL interpreted performances and have also just had a new loop style system installed. See here for their current access arrangements. Our Marlowe Theatre Access Scheme allows you to access the best seats for BSL Interpreted and Captioned performances and to get discounted tickets for you and a companion. The Royal Shakespeare Company returns to Canterbury with a must-see new production. This production is BSL Integrated meaning the interpreter is part of the action on stage.
Annie – Thursday 2 July 2026, 7.30pm
The smash-hit West End production of Annie, the world’s favourite family musical, comes to Canterbury for one week only.
Set in 1930s New York, brave young Annie is forced to live a life of misery at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage. Her luck soon changes when she’s chosen to spend a fairytale Christmas with famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks. Mean Girls – Thursday 6 August 2026, 7.30pm
Winner of Best New Musical (WhatsOnStage Awards), the ferociously funny show Mean Girls is coming to Canterbury direct from the West End.
