JOB DESCRIPTION – FUNDRAISING OFFICER
JOB TITLE: Fundraising Officer – Maternity cover December 2026 to September 2027
BASED: Flexible - Any Hi Kent premises (Maidstone or Canterbury) as required/can include home working
RESPONSIBLE TO: Chief Operating Officer
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Running HI Kent fundraising events and other initiatives to raise funds and increase awareness of HI Kent
HOURS OF WORK: 14 hours per week with flexibility (may include some weekends)
RATE OF PAY: To be discussed – includes Health Insurance with Benenden Healthcare
Job Summary: Organisation of HI Kent Fundraising Activities
DUTIES
· Running of quizzes, fundraising meals and similar activities
· Promotion of fundraising activities
· Participation in HI Kent funding meetings
· Promotion and management of the HI Kent Lottery
· Sale of fundraising goods including second hand items on Ebay
· Generation and implementation of new fundraising ideas
· Such other duties as maybe required by the Chief Operating Officer
· Participate in team meetings, fundraising and publicity events to promote Hi Kent’s services
